Our sourcing team at Omnia Machinery were contacted by a local UK customer, who we have purchased from previously, requesting we find a suitable Wirtgen WR2500SK for his fleet. So with our extensive knowledge of this type of machine, it wasn’t long before a machine was sourced, we found a great match from a contact we had worked with previously in the USA.
This client wished to go and inspect the Wirtgen himself, so he travelled with two members of our team at Omnia, to inspect the machine while it was working. This allowed the customer to get the best possible idea of the condition and see it works as it should.
After two days on-site the deal was agreed upon.
Due to a different tax system in the US, Omnia offered to bring the machine back to the UK, this made claiming export and import VAT simpler for the customer. The machine was delivered to Jacksonville port by the supplier and arrived with them the month after, shipping via Southampton and travelling the rest by road.
