Omnia Machinery received an enquiry from a contractor based in Malta looking for a 3-axle crane for an upcoming project. Based on the project requirements, Omnia Machinery recommended a Grove GMK 3055 due to its generous 43m boom for the 55t weight class. Using contacts within the UK crane hire industry, Omnia Machinery sourced a 2006 Grove GMK 3055 in fantastic condition. After meeting the customer and performing a thorough inspection of the crane, Omnia Machinery delivered the crane to Southampton Port within two weeks of the initial enquiry. The crane was shipped by RoRo to Valletta, Malta, transhipping through Livorno with a transit time of approximately 10 days. Within 4 weeks of the initial enquiry, the crane was delivered to the job site and put straight to work.
