Case 721F XT

An American client contacted Omnia to procure a wheel loader for use in their salvage yard. The machine was designated to be the sole loader in the yard and therefore needed to be low-hours and reliable. Omnia contacted a well-respected hire company in the UK for whom loaders are one of their specialities. They were looking to move on a well maintained 2015 Case 721F XT with less than 2,000 hours thus fitting the brief perfectly. As Omnia had an existing relationship with the UK supplier they could trust that the machine would be reliable, serviced and cleaned ready to work straight away.

The challenge to Omnia was the location of the end client, their site is in almost the exact centre of North America. Upon completion of the deal, the machine was moved to Southampton port the very next day. The machine could have sailed directly to a port nearby however this would require a long journey up river to north-central USA. It was decided therefore that the Case would be shipped to Baltimore, put on a low loader and trucked directly to the customer’s site in Minnesota. Port to door the loader arrived in three weeks and the customer was able to begin using their new machine immediately.
