Read on to find more information on the types of equipment we offer.

Paver

Pavers, also known as road paver finishers, asphalt finishers or road paving machines, are required to lay asphalt on roads, bridges, car parks and other such places. The machine is used to lay the asphalt flat on the ground and provides minor compaction before it is compacted with a roller. Self-propelled pavers consist of two basic units which is the tractor and the screed unit.

Road Planer

Road Planers is required as an alternative to fix damaged roads to avoid removal of the full road surface. When using a planer, the new surface is directly overlaid onto the sub-layers of the remaining. This is the most cost-effective and green way instead of complete removal and construction.

Soil Stabilizer

Soil stabilization is a process that is used when the properties of soil must be improved by blending and mixing a variety of other materials, thus increasing the strength of the soil. To ensure the load-bearing capacity and quality of the soil are adequate for the upcoming road construction projects.

Asphalt Plant

Asphalt plants, are often referred to as asphalt mixing plants or hot mix plants. These pieces of machinery combine aggregates and bitumen to produce an asphalt mix for road paving. The primary task of the asphalt plant is to heat up aggregates and mix them with bitumen and other adhesive substances to create a hot mix of asphalt.

There are two different major types of asphalt plants, which are batch mix and drum mix. The crucial feature of these plants is the use of cold aggregate feeder bins to store and feed the aggregates in different components due to their sizes. Also, they have an auxiliary feeder belt below each bin.

With the drum mix, the process is identical to the batch mix plant until the aggregates enter the drum after going through the vibrating screen to separate them based on their sizes.

Roller

Road rollers or compaction rollers are some of the most low-key pieces of construction machinery out there. They are not found on as many projects as you would maybe expect and are mostly required to prepare or finish foundations. There are numerous kinds of rollers that are often used for compaction work, and their use depends on the particular job at hand. The most recognised roller today would be the traditional cylinder roller, made of steel and they are two variations. The tandem roller and the smooth-wheeled roller. Then there is the vibratory roller, the tamping (sheep foot) roller and the rubber typed roller.

Motor Grader

Motor graders, also known as graders or road graders, are used to create a flat surface and can spread dirt and remove any debris. They are identified by their long adjustable blade. This piece of equipment can also be useful for maintaining unpaved roads. Motor grades can be suitable for a range of different tasks if you attach specific units on to the machinery.

There are two kinds of graders, which usually depends on the arrangement of the frame. The rigid frame on the grader has a single axle that is unable to turn in both directions about a point, however, the articulated frame type has a hinge between the two axles. The features of the articulated make it perfect for turning around in small spaces.
